Frisson is the French phrase that means “shiver”, however on this case, we’re not shivering as a result of we’re chilly, we’re shivering as a result of we’re stimulated by music.
After we hear a sure piece of music or view a selected murals, there could also be an intense psychological and physiological response. “You will have this sudden rush of dopamine,” explains psychologist Dr Rebecca Johnson-Osei. “It is a related pathway that will get activated with intercourse and different issues which are rewarding to our brains.”
