Nov 25 (Reuters) – British energy generator and community operator SSE (SSE.L) stated on Friday it had reached an settlement to promote a 25% stake in its energy transmission community enterprise to Ontario Lecturers’ Pension Plan Board for 1.47 billion kilos ($1.78 billion).
The enterprise, SSEN Transmission – which operates underneath its licensed entity – Scottish Hydro Electrical Transmission plc, shall be chaired by SSE’s finance director, Gregor Alexander, and Ontario Lecturers’ will get a proportional illustration on the board.
The stake sale course of is anticipated to start in early 2023.
